Our microwave cooking pitcher with lid is a fast, mess-free solution for measuring, mixing, reheating, and cooking quickly and neatly. It’s basically your compact saucepan for the microwave, offering endless possibilities.
From cooking soups to sauces, vegetables or fruits, custards and even quick and delicious microwave cakes, the Micro Pitcher is a versatile everyday meal prep helper. It’s also a great companion when baking your favorite recipes—it’s perfect for melting butter or chocolate, reheating ingredients and much more.
The Micro Pitcher has a curved interior shape with an etched bottom for maximum mixing efficiency and limited scratch visibility.
Pouring spout is designed for precise and smooth pouring with no dripping.
Sturdy, comfortable handle is easy to grab, even while wearing oven gloves, and makes it easy to remove pitcher from microwave, to hold while stirring, and to pour.
The cover can be positioned in 3 ways:
“Closed” position for cooking or reheating: Fully etched surface on the cover is positioned above the pouring spout.
Rotated 90° for “open spout” position: Allows more steam to escape while cooking, ideal for certain recipes like jam. It also leaves an opening for a spoon/utensil to stay in the Micro Pitcher during the preparation process or when serving.
Rotated 180° for “strainer” position: Lines etched on the cover are positioned above the pouring spout. This feature is ideal to drain off excess liquid after microwave cooking of ingredients such as peas or other vegetables: no need to transfer the contents into a colander.
The Micro Pitcher features measurements (imperial, metric, and cups) etched on inside of pitcher, making it easy to prep most recipes without using additional measuring tools. Metric measurements go from 100 mL to 1 L in 100 ml increments. On the other side, imperial measurements go from 8 ounces to 32 ounces. Cups measurements go from 1 cup to 4 cups, with marks every ¼ cup.

To protect container surfaces from scratching, use plastic or silicone utensils.
To remove sticky foods, soak containers in warm, soapy water.
Do not make caramel, popcorn, or fried foods in the Micro Pitcher as temperatures higher than 392°F/200°C will damage the product.
Before cooking, always make sure to have an adequate amount of liquid in your pitcher so that the Micro Pitcher does not get damaged, especially when preparing puree, fruit compote, or soup.
It is recommended to restrict Micro Pitcher cooking time to a maximum of 15 minutes. This prevents dehydration of the ingredients and potential damage to the microwave oven.
It is recommended to stir the food during reheating or cooking in the microwave.
Never leave a utensil/kitchen tool in the Micro Pitcher while microwaving.
Always wear oven gloves when manipulating the Micro Pitcher with hot contents.
When opening the Micro Pitcher cover, always position it so that any hot steam is directed away from you.
After cooking or reheating, before opening, allow the pitcher to stand on a trivet on the worktop for a few minutes to allow the heat to distribute evenly.
TIPS
To melt butter or chocolate, microwave for 15-30 seconds at a time, stirring each time the microwave stops to help the melting process.
How to blanch almonds easily
Place 4.5oz./125 g raw almonds with brown skin and 8 oz./250 mL water in the Micro Pitcher.​ Microwave for 3 minutes at 50% power. Drain, rinse with cold water, then peel almonds and dry well on paper towel.
How to extract more juice from lemons or limes
Place 4 lemons or limes into the Micro Pitcher. Microwave for 10 seconds before squeezing. ​This will soften the cellular walls of the fruit, allowing you to extract the maximum amount of juice from your citrus.
Master chocolate melting in the microwave!
Melting chocolate is easy if you follow a few guidelines. Be aware that chocolate must not be overheated. If heated over 131°F/55°C to 140°F/60°C, it can burn, lose its flavor, and turn from liquid into a thick paste.
Make sure your hands, Micro Pitcher, and stirring tool are all completely dry before introducing any chocolate.
Break the chocolate into pieces first for even and quick melting. Microwave for short periods at a time to ensure the chocolate does not seize. For best results, microwave for 15-30 seconds a time, stirring each time the microwave stops to stir.
Standing time is very important in the process to allow for even heat distribution. Depending on the type of chocolate and on your microwave, you might need to adjust the timing. Stir well until fully melted.
